Cool! It was fun catching all the references. My favorite verse was this one, I think:

So when you're done admiring my resilience:
An engineering feat of flesh and bone,
Please let me sit and bask inside your brilliance.
Remember my design is yours alone.

Which is really very romantic, but it a nicely sci-fi way.

I was trying to figure out the pattern of which verses were from which POV, but I couldn't always tell which were which. So far I've got:
Tony, Tony, Steve, Steve, Tony, Tony, Steve, Steve, Tony, Steve, ?, ?, Steve. Was I close?

Thank you so, so much for the comment! Sorry it took me a bit to reply-- I am actually WITH my lovely co-writer for her birthday, and I only see her a couple of times a year.

It's actually supposed to be entirely from Steve's perspective, but the verses alternate him talking about Tony vs himself, so it alternates sciencey and non-sciencey verses.

That is actually the FIRST verse I completed and didn't edit. The first two things I wrote were a sort of alternate of the first and last verses, which got changed a TON, and that one, that I ended up moving to later in the song, but that stayed word for word the same, so I'm glad you like it!
