Damn right, Tea.

When I came into this fandom I was stunned by the quality of the fan fiction. The authors here and on AO3 have made me laugh and cry and yelp with surprise. Most of the current ones know who they are, because I tell them how great they are in comments.

But I think all of us, writers and readers, owe particular debts to ElspethDixon, to Seanchai, to Valtyr, to CrimsonQuills, to Dorcas Gustine, to muccamuk, to tsukinofaerii, to nightwalker and paxnirvana and Penumbren and marinarusalka and all the other brilliant writers who led the way...

And you're right, Tea. Nobody would be here without the writers, and, like lil_shep said, the QUALITY of the fan fiction here is so very high.

So thanks, authors, for all the words, the thoughts,the scenarios, the laughter and tears and whump and OMG and hoooo boyyyyy and everything else :)
