A Group fannish Activity!
Alright From the threads I get that a fair number of people here own a figure of some sort of Cap and or Ironman, be it a mini or heck even a Heroclix. It can include other heroes if it makes sense and probably some sort of camera.
So I propose.. a friendly fannish activity beginning on the fifteenth of May-

I chose the fifteenth so MOST of us will have seen the Iron Man movie that are going to see it in theatres *which is all of us right?* ^_~
I know the release is the 2nd but I like to give fair warning, real fairness would be a month <strike> but who can ever wait that long? </strike>

What I propose are two-pseudo contests *you could win internet smooshes!*
Grab your figurines and go.
1st category - Steve/Tony - 1 photo tells all.
2nd category - The Gangs all here, and we're what now?
The rules being in the 1st category it is one photo arranged however you like that shows what Steve/Tony <3 is all about ^_^
The second category has to show some sort of adventure/story and be avengers centric. Although if you don't own any other avengers figurines you can use stand ins it is all cool, just note underneath things in caption things like;
"In this scene Batman is being used as Hank Pym- deals with it."
or "Yes, I realize using Gi Joe as Ms.Marvel doesn't seeeem equivalent but it has to do with her um, Kree something or other."
or lastly "Barbie makes a perfect Peter Parker"
Though please take into account the com is primarily Steve/Tony centric ... not that I would think anyone here would forget.
Soo would anybody be interested in participating, the more crcktackular the better! ^_^

I'm so going to end up buy more Super Hero Squad just to fill out the pics, aren't I? All I have now is two Clints, a Thor, a Cap, and five different Iron Mans...and a normal size action figure Iron Man...

*p.s. stupid mean friend sold my handpainted Cap made from a U.S. agent heroclix, we put it in the display case for buying individual ones stuck a ridiculous price tag on it as a joke... but someone was actually willing to pay for it and he sold it and I was left with no Cap!*

The Super Hero Squad really are painfully adorable. :-)
And here I thought that this fandom wouldn't be an expensive one for me... I swore ages ago not to buy merch for my fandoms any more, because I always move on after a year or so and then I'm left with hundreds (sometimes thousands) of dollars worth of merch I don't care about anymore! But I've always made exceptions for books and limited action figures. And now I'm into a fandom in which there are many, many, many versions of both! *facepalm*
