Is anyone on the comm interested in meeting up in New York City on May 2nd or 3rd to go see Iron Man?

seanchai and I will both be there, and while we already have our midnight-on-Thursday tickets, I can already assert that we're going to want to watch this movie more than once, and that it would be awesome to go see it in a large, obnoxiously-squeeing fannish group.

ETA: So, we've established that everyone lives in Canada. Hopefully the movie will be in theaters for a while, and people can work something out over the summer.

Because it's nearest USA from Japan, but there are likely no comic book shop in Guam... *shocked*

It shouldn't take that long for put subtitles. There are many movies release on same day with the US.

Aaaaand, Hulk which including Tony's appearance will release on August 1st in Japan!! It's earlier than Iron Man's release!

Toronto is just close enough to where I live and where my friends live that I will be seeing it there when I return.

I know it´s late...I´m going to see it on Friday the 9th. (It comes out earlier, but I don´t ant to go alone and shanghaied a rl friend. Well..I got two cinema-coupons from work and I´m inviting her, because she drove me around when I was still without a driver´s license. And we can´t go earlier, because her graduation test ends that week.)

I suppose that no one of you is in Bavaria that time.
