Yay for Celebration Week
I posted a comment to
´s recent entry and she suggested that I should make a real post out of it:
So...here it is:
I´m sorry that I also have a request here (feel free to ignore it)
But have any of you considered doing a vid with footage of Captain America, Ironman and Thor to "New Justice Team" from Futurama? (ask me for reason, music and footage. I´d do it myself but apparently my pc has decided that 20 GB is not enough free space for a 20 MB vid)
Will draw, write, etc in return.
ALSO: Hereby I offer you my services: give me a prompt and you´ll receive fic/art/what you want. I need to get back into "fangirl business" so, give me practice.
There´s no limit of how much you can request or what...although I have to warn you that I´m extremely bad at writing pr0n and we have people (you all know who I´m talking about. You know we loooooove her)who are way better than me with that.
So, give me new ideas!
I love Celebration Week here!
PS: Tro, what is your opinion regarding comm-challenges

So, comm-challenges:
Tro said that she totally digs challenges.
Ideas from me: Remember, only suggestions. Please read them and tell me what you think
Well, I "hosted" an ALPHABET Challenge at
piper_tricksterand I dare to say it was a huge success.
The idea was that each challenger picks one(or more) of the 26 letters, chooses a prompt with that letter and writes/draws/... and the results are posted daily.
Example:
runenklinge picks "C"
runenklinge thinks of a prompt with C and chooses "Candlelight Dinner"
And then runenklinge writes a fic with that.
That means 26 new fics/pics in 26 days, securing one new fic/pic per day
(except for the one time when I mixed things up in the piper_trickster and O and N were posted at the same day)
Once the challengers choose their letters, a day is picked for A.
Rules:
1) If you want to enter, pick at least one letter (and please not too much, the others want letters, too)
I think 1-5 are okay
2) The prompt must start with the letter you chose
3) The prompt can be anything: a comic related term ( i.e. Super Soldier Serum for S), a normal word (Sock for S) or a fancy word you´ve looked up in the dictionary^^
4) Posts are in proper order and each day there is a new one.
Pro:
- 26 brandnew entries
- almost no limits as to what you post
- you can indirectly choose when you post (if you need relatively long time to finish a fic/pic, just pick X, Y, Z and that gives you almost a total month after the challenge has already started)
Contra:
- you need many people for that (but since we are 69 people now, that really shouldn´t be a problem)
- and specially for this comm: 23 < 69, so not everyone can participate: the early bird catches the worm then
So, what do you think of this suggestion?

So, what do you think of this suggestion?
Well....this suggestion is basically the same as the APHABET CHALLENGE, excpet we have numbers.
Probably 0-9 should work best...or each challenger picks a number at random, chooses a prompt with that and then it´s like Alphabet Challenge
Example:
runenklinge picks 4.
runenklinge thinks of a prompt with 4 and chooses "4th of July"
or
runenklinge picks 1944 and choses uses this to write about something in WWII-era for Steve
Pro:
- few limits
- endless "source material" and as many people can join as they want = many, many new posts
Contra:
- could be a bit difficult to organize though

C O L O R
Color time!
Each challenger picks a color and uses that as a topic/inspiration for a fic/pic
Example:
runenklinge chooses "azure" and admires Steve´s eyes^^
(yes, "love colors" are of course allowed)

The Songfic Challenge!
After the great fanmixes we´ve encountered, why not write songfics?
Example:
runenklinge chooses "Mr Roboto" from Styx and writes a songfic
Example:
runenklinge chooses "I will always love you" and also writes a songfic

that were the ideas that came to my mind.
Tell me what you think
(What will be done eventually - if/when - there´s a challenge is all up to tro.
ps: After a challenge, the entries can be collected in a file (pdf, doc, odt, whatever) and put online for all the members to download.
I did that at p_t (collected all entries in a powerpoint-presentation), I´m only waiting for permission from the last artist to collect her works in that file. After that, I will see what the challengers say to the result.
I can tell you afterwards (whether it´s a good idea or not)

Also, I would be totally down with the Alphabet Challenge! I pick the letters S and X :D

(just making sure that we don´t have challenges parallel to each other)
If Yes, I´m going to make an official post with the Challenge then, ok?
