The Cap-Ironman 10 Year Anniversary Celebrations are in full swing! We have a lot of great mini events going on, with more coming up later this month. Currently, we have the Fairy Tale Bingo and the Alphabet Challenge running and there is still plenty of time to get involved in both of those fun, classic challenges from the early days of the community. Upcoming, we have a party post discussion, best of Steve/Tony nominations, and the crowd sourcing of a new, updated Ship Manifesto. For the full schedule of upcoming events and information for the anniversary, check out the main Anniversary Information Post.
The celebrations for the MCU 10 Year Anniversary will be starting up shortly, and we’re already starting to prepare. If you haven’t already, consider signing up to contribute to our MCU Tribute Collection. Additionally, we have launch a survey to get your input on your favorite MCU Steve/Tony tropes to help fuel some of the upcoming events. Please help out and share with us your favourite MCU Steve/Tony tropes. If you want to see what’s already been submitted to stir up some inspiration, you can do that here! You can submit as many items as you want, as many times as you want.
The Cap-Ironman Remix Challenge started reveals If seeing all of the great works has inspired you to take on the remix challenge, there is still time to participate in Remix Madness! Madness is a low stress, no obligation event, and once signed up you are able to create as many or as few remixes as you’d like. You can keep track of everything that has been revealed so far in the Remix Exchange Collection and the Remix Relay Collection. If you want to join in on the discussion and creator guessing, you can do so over on Dreanwidth or Livejournal
Cap-Ironman Reverse Big Bang is into its claim period now. Thank you to all of the incredible artists who create art and inspired our writers. The first round of claims is over, but the second round of claims is open here.
BINGO! 2017 Round 2 has wrapped up, and we had seven winner claim prizes. If you haven’t seen it already, be sure to check out the Bingo Round up Post. If you want to try your hand at the current round of Bingo! You can request a card here. The current round will end July 31st 2018.
The SteveTony Kink Meme Round Eight is now open! The round will run for the entire month, and you’re free to post and fill as many prompts as you want. All the round information and prompts are in this post, and remember you can fill from any previous round. Be sure to check out the Round Seven Fills.
Marvel News - possible spoilers:
Captain America #698 was released earlier this month and kicked off the new “Man Out of Time” arc. Poor Steve wakes up again to find himself in a strange future facing his worst nightmare. Check out a preview of the world Steve is up against.
Iron Man #596, Part 4 of the Search for Tony Stark, is out, and sees Riri facing some tough choices, and Tony facing some significant struggles of his own, leading in the conclusion coming in Part 5 later this month that is sure to be intense and dramatic.
Also, while not directly Steve / Tony related, Black Panther hit theatres this past week, making a record setting USD $25 million in Thursday night preview screenings. Definitely worth celebrating!
