Yes, that was a nice moment, when Tony was gone and he picked it out of the rubble. Bruce was great throughout the whole movie, I really liked his scenes with everyone and his struggle with the Hulk.
And I thought it was a storytelling feat to pull this many characters and movie strands together and not only have a coherent plot, but actually have lots of characters scenes and interactions that made sense for where all these people were coming from. Which means that I enjoyed all the Steve and Tony scenes no matter who they were with, because it felt like the movie did them right.
Plus, the set-up for post-movie fanfic is pretty good and I like that this puts Steve and Tony in a different position from where they were at the end of CW - not via reconciliation yet but via lots of other stuff happening to them and therefore changing where they are at mentally and emotionally.
