Title: Debts Owed
Author: [livejournal.com profile] miriel
Pairing: Gen, inferences allow for creative interpretation
Rating: PG
Spoilers: Through "Civil War" & "Fallen Son". It is no insult to say a dead man is dead.
Author's Note: First foray into Marvel Comics fic, of any variety. A double drabble to test the waters, so to speak. Feedback welcome, as always, although especially so in this case given that I'm still feeling my way in the realm of the Avengers (specifically Captain America & Iron Man). *Ahem* Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] crimsonquills for...introducing me to this lovely fandom. I so desperately needed another one, after all.

Summary: There are cultures in the world which have no words for "thank you," and there is a reason for that.

It's always bad when you sit down to write a few drabbles that each turn out to be three or four pages in MS Word, therefore ceasing to be drabbles. I'm seemingly incapable of writing anything that's less than a page, heh.

But anyway! Fic! With a bonus of Anderson Cooper!

Title: Where in the World is Anderson Cooper? (And Captain America)
Pairings/Characters: Steve Rogers/Tony Stark
Rating: G/PG
Fandom: A combo of Movie!Verse and New Avengers, post Extremis.
Warnings: A bit of fluff goin' on.
Word Count: ~ 1520
Disclaimer: No own, no profit. 'Tis all good.

Steve’s the sort of large, brick wall-like individual that just means comfort. (Unless he’s charging you in full regalia with a shield attached to his arm, then he just means you’re in for a world of pain.) )

Title: Auctioning a Monster Under the Table
Fandom: Marvel
Genre(s): Drama/Psychological/Intrigue
Rating: PG-13 for disturbing imagery and violence
Pairing(s): (Developing) Steve/Tony
Summary: Following The Illusion of Youth. AU from all current Marvel timelines. Tony Stark has been thrust back into the public eye due to a disastrous combination of zombie invasion and someone leaking his identity to the press. After spending nearly a decade as a S.H.I.E.L.D. scientist and operative, eighteen-year-old Tony Stark is badly prepared for the transition. Meanwhile, Steve Rogers mets a foe that he cannot defeat: gossip.

TITLE: ...Before You Find a Prince
AUTHOR: Nix (keparker AT shaw DOT ca)
FANDOM/COMIC TITLE: Avengers
CHARACTERS/PAIRING: Steve Rogers/Tony Stark (Captain America/Iron Man)
CATEGORY: Slash
RATING: G
WORD COUNT: 856
WARNINGS: None
SUMMARY: You can't always end up cute and fluffy, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
DISCLAIMER: Not mine. Not making money.
ARCHIVE Y/N: Yes, of course, to anyone who wants it. (Although I'd appreciate it if non-"Tales Of Suspense" folks drop me a quick note to tell me where the story is going.)

NOTES: I asked for fluff prompts, to which [livejournal.com profile] johanirae replied "There seems to be quite a lot of fics turning Tony into a small pet of some sort (and Steve being the one to take care of him)... Would love to see your take on that theme :D". At which point I got a humor bunny that had me giggling all the way to the bus stop. I have no idea if it turned out funny at all (I never can tell), but here we go anyway. *g*

Not betaed, because this is just a weird little flufflet.

So this isn't strictly Cap/Iron Man, but I made some icons and thought I'd share the Avengers ones with you. :)

Four more under here: Thor, Jan, Hank and Clint )

Am I allowed to make requests? If so, Steve + Tony + the song "You can leave your hat on"  by Joe Cocker. (I kid you not, thats his name.)
Please? The plot bunnies have been relentless.
I would write something myself, but I'm working on a Harlequin romance of Steve/Tony and I don't have the time write now...
