Intro chapter from a newbie

Hey *waves*. I'm a pretty much lifelong comic fangirl, who hadn't been able to really keep up with any series the past couple of years (why, hobbies? Why must you cost money? and /growing up sucks rant). I missed (and, *ulp*, still haven't read) Civil War, was never particularly a huge fan of the Avengers or of Captain America... and then I saw something with these two, and it just hit me hard, and I've been obsessed with the pairing since (and developed a new serious love for Cap as well as Tony). So I found and joined the comm, and now I bring you swell folks the intro chapter to the longish fic I've been working on. (whew! long introduction is long!)
