Soooooo...hello fellow Cap♥Ironman fans. Since canon keeps making me sad...(@#$! you Marvel and your Bucky-Cap, Spy-Steve, inconsistent continuity, supposed "big three") and I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of pretty lengthy fanfic I once read.  Essentially, it had all the Avengers switching powers, resulting in Tony obtaining Spiderwoman's power (yeah pheremones!), Steve got Peter's, Luke got extremis and so on.  So if anyone can help me out, I'll love you forever [waves Tony plushie].

Monthly Prompts: Hurt/Comfort

As it's getting on towards September (where'd summer go?), we're discussing next month's theme - hurt/comfort.

If you have a half-finished h/c story mouldering away, drag it out and finish it! Post your new fanart of Steve healing Tony with his Miraculous Healing Cock. Or perhaps you have a h/c bingo card on the go - give us some Steve/Tony. Or you can picspam Steve making sad faces, or write a post about how best to handle Tony's heart problems in fic. Or talk about Manly Tears, or how you like to see characters hurt (beaten? dying? frozen in block of ice? deleted brain?) or how you like best to see them comforted. (Hugs? sex? medals? all friends gathered round coffin Very Sorry they did not appreciate the deceased in life?).

For anyone planning a glorious h/c epic, let me recommend a trawl through the metafandom archives. (The h/c tag is weird and will not be linked to; just scroll down the taglist to the left to find h/c.) There's some excellent discussion of how to take care when writing h/c, and how to handle it sensitively; remember, when you're writing about conditions that affect real people, it's a good idea to bear that in mind while writing (and warn appropriately, too.)
