Title: Unscripted
Pairing: Steve/Tony
Rating: NC-17
Universe: AU of movie!verse
Beta: [livejournal.com profile] seaghostsoaring & [livejournal.com profile] marguerite_26
Summary: Tony Stark is too volatile and contrary to be a porn star. It's too bad he’s also incapable of taking no for an answer; Steve’s in for one hell of a ride.

Title: 5 Times Steve Rogers Rubbed Tony Stark Exactly the Wrong Way (And One Time He Didn't) Part 1 -- The Bike That Dad Built
Author/Artist:
Summary: It's really got to say something about a guy when you can defeat Doombots, AIM, Interdimensional Yeti, SHIELD's systemic obfuscation, Asgardian Gods, Fox News, and also kick some serious Alien ass with a guy, and still want to punch him in the head over dinner, hasn't it? Tony's sure that means something. Also? Tony's dad never built HIM a motorcycle...
Pairings/Characters: Tony/Pepper at present, though the series arc will incline to Steve/Tony
Word Count: 2043
A/N:Disclaimer: All characters are the intellectual property of Marvel, and their creators. They do not pay me for the free advertising this work generates for their franchise, and nobody else pays me for it either. Pinky swear.
Notes: This is technically a WIP, completed through section 3. As the series title suggests, there will be more, and they will be interknit. Later segments will get longer. Lots longer. And probably smexy too.

Title: 5 Times Steve Rogers Rubbed Tony Stark Exactly the Wrong Way (And One Time He Didn't) Part 2 -- A Slow Marching Band
Also? Science is fun, Jarvis is WAY cooler than Twiki, and Tony does not do funerals.
Pairings/Characters: Tony/Pepper at present, though the series arc will incline to Steve/Tony
Word Count: 4300 words

Title: Grace Period
Author: [livejournal.com profile] kroki_refur
Universe: Movieverse and 616
Rating: PG-13
Length: 4,182 words this chapter/8,406 total so far
Warnings: Period-appropriate but currently offensive words for marginalised groups. Comics-style timeline shenanigans. Mentions of character death.
Spoilers: Avengers movieverse: all the movies. Comics: 616 up to the end of the Secret Invasion.
Pairings/characters: Gen. Steve Rogers (movieverse); Tony Stark, Bucky Barnes, Peter Parker, Carol Danvers, probably others as it progresses (616).
Beta: None.
Notes: I have not read all the Avengers-related 616 comics (because I only have one lifetime), so apologies for any canon mistakes or continuity errors. The most relevant comic arcs are: Winter Soldier, Civil War, Captain America (2005) #25-#30 and the Secret Invasion.

Summary: Avengers movieverse/comics (616) crossover (not a mashup or a fusion or a movieverse fic with comics backstory). If you've essentially travelled 70 years into the future, a tiny step back and to the side shouldn't be a big deal. As it turns out, though, it makes all the difference in two worlds.

Ultimate Captain America will be coming out of his self-enforced retirement, and hopefully ceasing to eat endangered rattlesnakes, in The Ultimates #13. He has a new costume, the most entertaining thing about which is that the A is wonky because he had to paint it himself. Oh dear. But it seems like he'll be sharing a book with Ult Sam again!

And Ultimate Tony has some new armour. (Also seen on that page - a cover with Cap and Miles Morales together!)

And a big old spoilery article hinting about what's going to happen at the end of Avengers vs X-Men. I bet the world will never be the same!
