I'm a newcomer to this ship but a long time slasher... and I have to admit Steve/Tony has trampled all of my previous pairings to become my OTP. I must have read a million words worth of fanfiction in the last month - I hope that doesn't make me TOO obsessed, haha.

But the purpose of this post is to offer a prompt, if I'm allowed to do that here? I didn't see anything in the ruled about it and I don't think this prompt has been done yet (and it would so make my day to see it) so here goes...(if I should be posting elsewhere please let me know!)

Eureka AU - obviously you have to be familiar with the show Eureka, though I've only watched 5 episodes so far and this idea was screaming at me)

Steve Rogers, ex-special forces, wrecks his bike to avoid hitting a dog one rainy evening on the outskirts of a small town called Eureka. After witnessing and assisting in the resolution of a series of strange events he is 'offered' (more likeconscripted by the gov) the post of Sheriff. His new Deputy, Natasha Romanoff (Goes by "Ro"?) is less than thrilled with this. I'm torn whether Tony should play Henry's role (having a repair shop while at the same time being an inventor and prominant scientist at Global Dynamic ) or Nathan Stark's role (scientist and director of GD. .. granted Fury might be better suited for this role but the Eureka character was the reason I got this idea in the first place, he even looks like Tony and has the same last name!) Perhaps Tony-as-Henry was relieved from directorship due to...whatever, blowingsomethingupforthelasttime (but they kept him on at GD in a consulting capacity because, well, he's Tony, and besides he'll just keep inventing stuff out of his garage) and was replaced by Fury?

Other characters could include Barton-as-Taggert (aka crazy Aussie containment man)
Maria Hill-as-Allison Blake (aka DoD lady)
Jarvis-as-SARAH (aka housewife AI)
Bruce-as-random-GD-scientist?
Fargo as Fargo cause I can't think of anyone who would really fit... maybe Peter?
Could probably make Jane work at GD if you want to have Thor come in at some point.

So yeah if someone went crazy with this I would pretty much flip out. My bf wants to give it a try but he never finishes stuff lol plus he isn't exactly a slash fan I just sort of force it upon him ahah.

I just think this crossover/au was meant to be. And if someone writes it I will totally draw for you in exchange :x
