Welcome to the cap_ironman / cap_ironman newsletter, extreme backlog edition!

First off, your mods would like to apologize for the lack of newsletters lately. It's totally a misstep of ours and we promise to try and be better about this in the future.

NEWS! **links contain spoilers**

Lots of movie news (thanks comic con!).

The biggest news is that Avengers 2 has a title: Age of Ultron. Joss Whedon has said that the plot has nothing at all to do with the recent comic arc. Rumor has it that since Hank Pym is not going to be part of the movie, that Tony will be the creator of Ultron. (The fan rumor I’ve heard most is that Ultron is JARVIS gone bad.) Both Clint and Natasha are supposed to have bigger roles this time around.

Lots of news for MCU Steve. There was a trailer at comic con as long as a poster and some costumes on display. And interviews galore; that link has a video of the official panel, as well as interviews with Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, and Sebastian Stan. And as a round-up, there have also been set pictures of Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter), Armie Hammer, Robert Redford, the Winter Soldier vs. Cap battle (plus video), a car scene featuring Winter Soldier, Cap, and Widow, Steve’s new costume, Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill) (and Scarlett), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Maximiliano Hernandez (S.H.I.E.L.D Agent Stillwell), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Anthony Mackie altogether, and a high-res image of Winter Soldier's bionic arm.

The biggest news for our boys in comics, is, of course, Ultimates #27. Can't say too much without ruining the whole thing.

There's also a new animated show; Avengers Assemble, available on iTunes. What I've seen has been pretty slashy, actually.
