It is time for the official chat of the week!

First off, In an effort to keep the chat channel free of spoiler, Whizzy has created a channel #cap-im-spoilers for talking about the upcoming Age of Ultron. To get to this channel use the same method you would for #cap-im but type #cap-im-spoilers instead. Being one of those people who don't like spoilers, you won't see me there. It definitely got some use this week with the Entertainment Weekly article.

This week, we'll be talking about Steve and Tony, as per usual, along with other topics. Feel free to bring your own! Just remember to check before you talk about anything that could be spoilery.

The writing sprints were so popular with people last week that we'll having some more of those as well. If you don't write, don't worry, not everyone does the sprints, so there will be people to talk to. So, come, hang out, and chat! Lurkers are welcome as well. :P

Next week's chat will be on Friday. Don't forget that you can log into the irc channel at any point during the week. Normally, there will be other people around.

The #cap-im and #cap-im-spoilers IRC channels are on DALnet. If you’re using a regular irc client the server is irc.dal.net and the channel is #cap-im and/or #cap-im-spoilers. There are three different options below of web clients. If one doesn't work try a different one.

Got to https://kiwiirc.com/client. Type in the nickname you wish to use. The channel name is #cap-im or #cap-im-spoilers. There will be a little blue link that opens up the server and network info. Click on that and enter irc.dal.net as the server and 6667 as the port. Here is an example of what it looked like when I filled it out.

Teyke found yet another web client option if the two above aren't working. Go to http://www.wsirc.com/ and fill out the box to the right like Teyke's example below.

Last chat there were a few people who were able to get the http://www.dal.net/ web client working, so I've added it back here. Under Chat Now fill in your nickname, and #cap-im or #cap-im-spoilers.
