2014 Cap-IM Holiday Gift Exchange

There are some changes to the gift exchange this year, the largest being that we're using Ao3's gift exchange system.  It helpfully automates several steps for us, but it will take some getting used to for those who aren't familiar with the archive, so please read the instructions carefully before signing up!

Rules and general guidelines

Schedule
Sign-ups Close: December 3rd
Assignments Due: December 30th
Works Revealed: January 1st!
Authors Revealed: January 5th

Participants will be required to post completed gifts to the Ao3 exchange by December 30th.  Mods will be available to help, but you will need to finish this step on your own!

As always, if you find that you need to drop from the exchange, please let us know as soon as possible (cap.ironman.fic.exchange@gmail.com) so that we look for pinch hitters.

Sign up form and instructions

You will be required to be logged into your Ao3 account in order to sign up for the exchange.  If do not have an account and would like one, email us at cap.ironman.fic.exchange@gmail.com for an invite code.  Your sign up may be edited at any time up until the close on Dec 3rd, and may be accessed from your Ao3 dash under the "sign-ups" section (link is in the left column list).

Optional tags
There is a portion of the sign up form which will ask for "optional" tags.  Any tag recognized by Ao3 will be permitted in the field, but wording is sometimes difficult to remember.  If you're stuck and would like some hints, under the cut is a list of some common tags you may wish to use for your prompt(s), or for the gift you are offering to make.
