Summary: When his sister goes missing, Tony leaves his life of solitude behind to go after her with nothing but his trusty gun, broken compass, and 1967 Camaro.

During a particularly gruesome hunt, he runs into Steve Rogers, a deputy in some Podunk town in rural New York – or so he says. Tony’s quest for his sister, and Steve’s search for his childhood best friend, cause the two of them to form an unlikely alliance as they travel through the country, chasing down a ghost. One thing’s for sure, Tony is going to get Pepper back, or die trying.

Summary:
Reed thinks that Tony moving in with the Fantastic Four at the Baxter Building is a great idea. After all, Tony really needs a place to stay as all of his assets have been frozen following him turning quasi-villain. If only Steve didn’t try to interfere…

Angst, Adventure and Awkwardness at the Baxter Building. Reed is dense and Steve and Tony are working some things out. It's basically Stevetony from the perspective of Reed, who is kind of not getting a lot. Set post-Superior Iron Man and incursions. Expect fluff at the end. But it has to be paid for in pain.

This is pretty much finished, so posting is fast, about 2 chapters a week.

Chapter 6, Talking at cross purposes: Steve and Reed have to go on a rescue mission together. If only they were capable of communicating properly. And who might they need to save?
