With Teyke's permission, I'm posting this as I think it could be relevant to Cap/IM members' interests. :)

The idea here is to organize a gift exchange designed for Marvel and it's many branched runs, authors, related and unrelated fandoms. The idea is to include the X-Men side and the Avengers side and every other side that non-Marvel fans don't realize is Marvel. The idea is to include any timeline you want, any world you want, any character you want, so long as it's Marvel.

One Cap/Ironman Remix 2016 story unveiled on 2/16

We will keep revealing one or two remixes a day until February 21st. Remixes will remain anonymous until after everything is revealed. The Remix Madness Collection will be revealed and the opening of the collection will be announced on the 21st. Remix Madness will stay open until the same day 23pm UTC (What time is that for me?), so if you’ve gotten a taste while reading remixes there is still time to try your hand at remixing yourself right now. All information about Remix Madness is here.

Final creator reveals and round-up Masterposts will go up on the 25th.

Emanata (The Comics Will Break Your Heart Remix) (Marvel 616, 29511)

Steve Rogers has the opportunity to fulfill his childhood dreams of becoming a comic artist when eccentric billionaire, superhero patron, and obsessive comic enthusiast Tony Stark offers him a job drawing Iron Man.

But Tony Stark has no idea that Steve Rogers is really Captain America, the newest member of the Avengers.

And Iron Man has no idea that Captain America is really Steve Rogers, up-and-coming comic book artist.

And Steve doesn't know what to do about the fact that he's falling head over heels for them both.


This is a remix of Iron Man: The Watchers of the Moon by Muccamukk.

Remixes will remain anonymous until after the last remixes have been unveiled and the Remix Madness Collection has been unveiled and announced on the 21st. Remix Madness is open for play until right before that happens.

We’ll be announcing all the gifts for today on Tumblr as well as here, so people can like and reblog it, to spread the word.

As AO3 does not do this for you, you may want to change the publication date of your work to today’s date, to help it show up in the Ao3 listings for recent works. AO3’s guide is available here and there is a more detailed guide on how to do so here.

Reverse Bang Art Deadline Approaching!

Artists, this is your one-week warning! Reverse Bang 2016 art submissions are due by 11:59pm PST on Tuesday February 23rd. If you haven't submitted your art yet, be sure to include your preferred username, the universe your art depicts (if you have no preference just put “ambiguous”), and any triggers/squicks that you would prefer not be included in your partnered fic. Still trying to finalize ideas? Check out our inspiration posts (Tropes, Canon Alternate Universes (1 and 2), Fluff, Angst, and Telling a Story with Pictures) or join us in the cap-im chat on Friday or Saturday this week. Remember that art does NOT need to be finished to be submitted, but characters should be recognizable without labels If you have already submitted your art, you should have received a confirmation email from the RBB mod team. If not, please submit your work again so we can make sure we have it! When you have your submission ready, email us your file to cap.im.events@gmail.com.
