Cap/IronMan Remix 2016

Our very first Captain America/Iron Man Remix has wrapped up. We hope everyone had a fun experience. If you had not had the time to thank your remixer, please take the time and do so now.

Because this was our first Remix ever and because some of the fun of remixing is in exploring what “remixing” actually means we also invite you - creators, readers, and everyone interested - to our Post-Reveals Remix Discussion post to discuss remixing, share recs and voice your thoughts.

We are glad to announce that we had a whooping 49 Remixes created, 16 written for the Remix exchange and 33 created for the Remix Madness. We are very excited about this and hope everyone else is too. So if you haven’t looked at the Remixes yet here is the amazing masterlist of all that was created! (Please let us know if you find any mistakes.

Cap/IronMan Remix 2016

Now that our Steve/Tony Remix challenge is over and everyone has had a taste of what remixing fanworks means or can be like, we thought it might be interesting for our remixers and remixees and interested non-participants to have a place where they can talk about the remixes, the remixing processes and where everyone can share recs for well done remixes.

So tell us: What gave you your ideas? How did you go about remixing the works you chose and how did you choose them? What did surprise you in the remixes you saw? And what would you like to try if you get the chance to remix again? Have you learned anything while creating your remix or while looking at what the other creator's did, that you want to talk about?

Everyone is welcome to come in share their thoughts and discuss!
