Tiny Reverse Bang Starts Tomorrow!

The first art for this year’s Tiny Reverse Bang will be posted to tumblr at 9AM EST tomorrow (Saturday June 18)!  We’ll have a full schedule up soon. The first round, Avenger, will run from 6/18-6/24, with the round-up being posted on Sunday, June 26. We’re doing badges again this year, so artists and authors alike can look forward to receiving those for each completed round.

If you didn’t participate last year, or need a refresher, the way the TRB works for writers is this: Every week, we will post a new art inspiration piece. Authors will have until the end of the week (Friday) to write a short fic and post it. We will then add it to our round-up list and contact the authors to present them with their badges. If you write a fic but don’t finish in time for the end of the round, don’t worry! Late fill are entirely welcome, we just won’t be able to include them in the round-up for that round. Never fear, your work will be included in the Masterlist at the end of the event (and you’ll get your badge then too!).

General Guidelines for TRB Writing:

1. You will be writing a response fic to accompany the current posted art piece.

2. Drabbles/ficlets must be 250 words minimum, but feel free to go over. TRB fics can also count for Bingo fics if they meet the STONY BINGO requirements.

3. Ficlets must be newly created for the artwork, and cannot be posted anywhere else or as part of a previous work in progress.

4. All participating writers on tumblr must create a post for their ficlets and use the “#capimtrb2016″ tag within the first 5 tags (If you want the mods to find you) OR post their work on AO3 to the event collection. Mentioning us (@capim-tinybang​) in your tumblr post helps too.

5. All tumblr posts must use a header.

6. Drabbles for posted artwork should be posted within the specified deadline (about a week for each art piece depending on how many artworks) if the author wishes to receive a badge and be included in the weekly round-up.
