2016 Holiday Exchange: Sign-Ups are now OPEN!

SIGN-UPS NOW OPEN


That’s right, it’s that time of year again: time for the Cap-Ironman Holiday Exchange!

This is our annual fanwork exchange. Each participant will be matched to and secretly create a Steve/Tony fanwork (fic or art) for another participant. At the end of December the gifts will be posted anonymously, and then in early January the creators will be revealed!

This year, there are some changes to the sign up form for the exchange. Please make sure to read the instructions carefully even if you participated last year.

Also, we’ll be bringing back Community Gifts this year! This doesn’t require a sign-up. We’ll collect a list of anonymous prompts submitted by community members. Then on November 1st it will be posted for everyone to view. Anyone can submit fills for these prompts, which are considered gifts to the entire Cap-Ironman Community and will be accepted in and promoted as part of the main exchange collection. More information about Community Gifts will be posted October 17th.

October 14th: Sign-ups open
October 17th: Community Gifts prompt submissions open
October 22nd 7 PM PDT/October 23rd 4 AM CEST: Sign-ups close (what time is this for me?)
October 23rd-30th: Mods match participants
October 31st: Assignments sent out
October 31st 7 PM PDT/November 1st 3 AM CET: Community Gifts prompt submissions close
November 1st: List of Community Gift Prompts posted
December 18th 7 PM PST/December 19th 4 AM CET: Assignments due
December 18th-26th: Last minute pinch hits created
December 26th: Start of gift reveals
January 6th (approximate): Author/Artist revealed


Sign-ups for the exchange are being handled through AO3. You will need an AO3 account to participate; if you don’t have one, leave a comment on this post and we’ll get you an invite.

The sign-up form has detailed instructions for both offers and requests. Please read the instructions carefully and be aware that there are some changes from last year.
