Call for Mods: Community Moderator

Time marches on, as does life; due to changing RL circumstances, I will be stepping down as comm mod. It's been a blast, and I'd like to thank you all for making it so much fun!

Now, however, it is time to open up applications for a new third community mod. As opposed to event mods, this is a year-round position.

Community mods are responsible for: recruiting, assisting, and acting as event mods where required; general community policy decisions; community maintenance and communication; background projects (such as the Slashy Moments List); newsletters; occasional acts of diplomatic mediation or fire fighting; and all smaller events such as STONY BINGO. We use tumblr, LJ, gdocs, irc chat, AO3, and imzy as our current main platforms/programs.

Clear, responsive communication (we use email and the chat for modly topics) is essential, as is year-round commitment and availability. Prior modding or equivalent experience is a bonus. We do ask that applicants be over 18 years of age.
