With the new round of BINGO well under-way, it's time to post the winners and masterlist from the Winter 2016 BINGO round! Everything is included in this post to keep it all in one place (and to split up the wall of text), but that does mean that it's a bit of a beast, so it may take some time to load.

Our last round of BINGO has wrapped up, and we had ten winners this round! Thank you to everyone for participating, we have so many wonderful works as a result. Please go check out all the great fics and art and give them some love~ I know a few of you were working hard right down to the wire, and I'm so happy to see so many completions!

If you want to participate in the current bingo round, come get your card here. If your card was completed by March 1st, 2017, but you did not submit for prizes, please leave a comment here, and we will add you to the masterlist and create your prize. Thank you very much to [livejournal.com profile] angel_inoshi and [livejournal.com profile] amonaeb for creating and customizing the prize banners, respectively.

Without further ado: the 2016 Round 2 Cap-Ironman Bingo Prizes and Masterlist! )
Congratulations to all participants!

The mods have compiled a post of current events, so definitely take a look to keep up to date. Recently we've had the monthly danwork roundup for March, and the Fruit Chain reveal.

Next chat is planned for Saturday, April 15th. Don't forget that you can log into the irc channel at any point during the week. Normally, there will be other people around.

As a reminder we have a channel #cap-im-spoilers for conversations about new tv episodes, comic book issues and other spoilers. If no one is currently in there, just stop by the regular channel and let people know you want to talk about spoilers. :) To get to this channel use the same method you would for #cap-im but type #cap-im-spoilers instead; alternatively, once you are connected to IRC, type '/join #cap-im-spoilers' in the command line. The mods have compiled a post of current events, so definitely take a look to keep up to date.

Danwork is the new word for fanwork now, because I refuse to delete my typos. Enjoy the community danworks, you happy happy dans.

BINGO 2017, Round 1 is well underway. Have you completed your fills or (like me) are still prodding at your card in hopes of divine inspiration? If you haven’t received a card yet, don’t despair! Marvel News:

The previews for Secret Empire #1 are out and set the stage for what promises to be a tumultuous ride. While Captain America is still in control of the Avengers, or some form of the Avengers, he also is at the helm of Hydra. This issue is due to be released on May 3rd, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for a potentially villainous Steve!

The Generations event, a 10-issue limited series, is coming soon and will revolve around Marvel’s plethora of legacy heroes working alongside their legendary predecessors in a cycle of interconnected one-shots. The storyline will take place in the current Marvel continuity and we can expect no time travel of alternate universe in this one.

In Avengers #6 we can look forward to the conclusion of the “Kang War VI” as well as some reality-warping shenanigans. Riri gets more of the spotlight than she bargained for in Invincible Iron Man #6. Captain America and the Red Skull go head-to-head in Captain America: Steve Rogers #15 which leads to Captain America changing the landscape of the Marvel Universe in a huge way in issue #16!
