It’s Friday, which means rec time! Each week, we're offering you the chance to submit your favourite fics and other fanworks for our two themes. Self-recs are welcome and of course you can still make new recs once Friday has passed!

This week, theme #1 is ‘DISABILITIES’ (suggested by [profile] snoozingcat) -- What if part of the reason Tony created JARVIS is so JARVIS can handle communications because Tony is dyslexic and always hid it well? A villain managing to bring some of Steve's pre-Serum disabilities back? What if Tony had been the one to crash in CACW and not Rhodey?

Theme #2 is 'DARKFIC/ART' -- The fic and art that measures their love for the characters by how much emotional and physical damage they can inflict on them.

Please use the following format for your recs (you can just copy & paste this):

Do you have a rec that doesn't fit either of the themes? Submit it to the general Stony Fic Rec Library, open 24/7!

Other great places for recs are:

We also want to ask you to name themes for future Fanwork Rec Fridays, so pop into this post and leave us any suggestions! We'll use your ideas for sure (and of course give proper credit!). This and future posts will be tagged with Friday Fanwork Recs so if you ever want to go back to old themes, you can find them easily.

And now unto the fics!

Cap-Ironman Tiny Reverse Bang is in full swing and there have been many wonderful fills for the amazing art. Thank you to everyone who has been participating. New art is being posted every week, and fills need only be 100 words. Also, as a reminder, you can use your Tiny Reverse Bang fills to fulfil a square on your bingo card if you want. All information and updates about the event can be found over on the Cap-Ironman Tiny Reverse Bang Tumblr.

Bingo! Round 1 is officially over and Round 2 is now underway. If you’re looking to claim a prize for Round 1 you can do that over here at the Round 1 Claims Post. If you’re looking to grab a new card and start your next challenge, head over to the Round 2 Post. Keep your eyes open for the list of Round 1 winners and fills master post coming shortly.

Cap-Ironman Big Bang is still in the writing phase, and there is still plenty of time to get involved. All you need to do to be considered signed up as an author is to submit a draft of your story that is 80% of the minimum word count of 25,000 words by the draft deadline, which will be towards the end of September. Keep your eyes open for more updates and official dates. If you want to brainstorm or discuss your projects, or get support, be sure to check out the Thursday Creator Workshop Discussion posts. You can also swing by the Cap-Ironman IRC Chat and discuss what you’re working on over there.

Steve Tony Studios is currently working on a Super Husbands Aluminum Anthology in Celebration of 10 Years since The Confession. The anthology will be available September 4th as a free to download PDF. For more information about the project, check out the project page.

The Marvel Bang will be running all summer. Sign up for authors is closed, but they are accepting artist sign ups until the claim date in September. They are also allowing for the sign up of Solo Works all summer long, so there is still plenty of opportunity to participate. Be sure to check out all the information over at the Marvel Bang Livejournal.

Marvel News - possible spoilers:

Spiderman: Homecoming is out and feelings abound! There have also been a lot of updates from SDCC including the first teaser for Avengers Infinity Wars, a new trailer for Thor: Ragnarok and new promotions for Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Secret Empire is ongoing and continues to tease more dramatic reveals. Issue 8 is hitting shelves next week, and upcoming issue 9 “promises to pull back the curtain on another secret about Rogers that will rock the Marvel Universe”
. No doubt, it’s going to keep us on our toes. Previously, issue 6 brought us all kind of SteveTony goodness, with another showdown between Cap and Ironman, all the while leaving Tony still dealing with the lingering trauma from Civil War.

Marvel Solicitations for October have been published, including titles for Iron Man and Avengers. Check out the full list here.
