The Annual Cap-IronMan Rec Week is coming up soon, so it’s time to start getting your recommendations ready to share with the community! For those new to Rec Week, each day of the week will have a post asking for fanwork recs based on a different theme. Recs can be for fic, art, or other Steve/Tony (or Steve & Tony) fanworks of any kind. At the end we’ll create a giant masterlist of all the recs that were posted for everyone's reading and viewing enjoyment!

Rec Week 2018 Themes and Schedule
All New Monday, July 9th: Works newly posted any time after the end of the 2017 Reverse Big Bang (mid-June).
Artful Tuesday, July 10th: A rec day highlighting fanart specifically! Come and rec all the art.
Angsty Wednesday, July 11th: Bring on all the angst!
Fluffy Thursday: July 12th Rec your favourite warm fluff works.
Fix-It Friday, July 13th: All fix-its, all day.
Kiss-It-Better Saturday: July 14th: Hurt/Comfort of any kind.
Cap-IM Sunday, July 15th: Rec all your favorite works created for one of the Cap-IronMan challenges!

There will be different ways to participate:
  • You can comment with your recs on the day on the special posts that will go up on our Dreamwidth and Livejournal communities. (Anon commenting will allow anyone to participate, even if they don’t have an account.)

  • Reply to each rec day’s Tumblr post that will go up on our Cap-IronMan Tumblr with your recs.

  • During rec week you can make a Tumblr post with your recommendations and tag it with #capimrecweek within the first five tags on the post. Please include the day’s theme somewhere in the body of the post. On the dedicated day we will reblog posts for the day’s theme on our community Tumblr and later include them in the masterlist.

So prepare your recs and keep an eye out for the first post to go up on the 9th!

If you have any questions, please let us know in the comments to the Dreamwidth post right here, send us an ask on Tumblr or email us at cap.im.events@gmail.com.

Don't forget we also have our themed fanwork recs going on right here in the Dreamwidth Community!
