Summary: “Tony?” That voice… he would recognize it in a second. He knows whom it belongs to, but how could that be? An explosion – loud, mighty, blinding – comes suddenly to his mind, and he understands at once.
Author's Notes: I'm starting early because I know A4 is gonna be devastating and I'm beginning to fear it's gonna suck for some reason so that's how this idea came to mind. Basically Steve and Tony get trapped inside the Soul Stone (instead of, y'know, dying). I've been reading a historical novel about Christian priests in Japan in the XVII century, so that's the reason of the few religious references in the fic (also it seemed appropriate seeing that they are kinda dead).
