2021 Rec Week: Tropey Tuesday!

It's the second day of Cap-IM Rec Week, so it must be Tropey Tuesday!

There's some things that we'll click on no matter what, as long as they have that one trope we're besotted with. Bring all the tropes out in your recs today—the classics, the cracky ones, the memes, the tropes that bring a smile to your face when you come across them in the tags. Hurt/comfort, bantering like a married couple, identity porn, there was only one bed, fake relationship… share some of the fanworks that make you clutch your screen with joy.

Multiverse Monday, July 19: Travel the multiverse with your recommendations.
Tropey Tuesday, July 20: Come and rec works that have your favourite tropes.
What-If Wednesday, July 21: Time to rec some AUs! Canon divergence, magic, fusions, modern-day settings… send them all in!
Different Media Thursday, July 22: A rec day highlighting fanwork types like moodboards, manips, fanvids, podfics and artworks!
Laugh out Loud Friday, July 23: What works have made you giggle, smirk, snort or smile lately? Which ones do you go back to for a pick me up of feel-good brain chemicals? Rec them and spread the joy!
Something New Saturday, July 24: Which gems have you fallen in love with or enjoyed over the last year? Share them with us today!
Cap-IM Sunday, July 25: Rec all your favorite works created for a cap-ironman challenge!

There are several ways to participate:

• Comment on the special daily posts that will go up on our Dreamwidth and Livejournal communities. (Anon commenting allows anyone to participate this way, even if you don’t have an account.)


• Reply directly to each rec day's Tumblr post that will go up on our Cap-Iron Man Tumblr page.


• Make a Tumblr post with your recommendations, mention @cap-ironman and tag it with #capimrecweek within the first five tags on the post. Please include the day’s theme somewhere so that we can reblog it on the right day.


• Post rec(s) on Twitter matching the day's theme and mention @ cap-ironman so that we can retweet it.


• Post rec(s) in the #stony-recs channel of our Cap-IM Challenges Discord server.
