Cap-IM Big 2021 -- One day to go!

We’re at the home stretch, everyone—keep up your hard work and remember to hydrate.
Writers, be sure to get your drafts in by Wednesday, 15 September to join our annual Cap-IM Big Bang challenge!
Just follow our Writers’ Guidelines and send an email to cap.im.events@gmail.com. No need to fret about time zones; as long as it’s still the 15th somewhere in the world ("What time is that for me?"), we’ll be accepting drafts.
Whether you’ve submitted your draft already, you're adding the final touches before sending it over, or putting the pedal to the metal to meet the deadline, we can’t wait to see your draft and share your summaries with the rest of the community — we know they’re gonna love every one of them!
Summaries of all our eligible Big Bang drafts will be available by 16 September, and claims will open on 18 September at 08:00 EDT ("What time is that for me?"). Planning to claim a summary? Check out the Guidelines for Claiming Creators so you’re prepared! If you’d like to check how much time is left until claims are open, here's the countdown clock!
Lastly, we want to stress that if you don't get your draft in on time, or you started working on a fic but don't feel like having a posting deadline will motivate you, or you end up with a fic that's under 20K but you think it's done … it’s okay. You have just as much value as a writer whether you do or don't participate in a Big Bang, and it is super brave of you to try to start such a long piece of writing in the first place. Maybe this year is not your year, but there's always next year! Or you can continue to work at your own pace.
