Call for 2022 Cap-IM Reverse Bang Event Mods!

The Cap-IM Reverse Bang is our annual event where artists of all kinds create works with the intent of inspiring writers and podficcers to create an accompanying story (the reverse of the Big Bang; for this event, writers and podficcers claim artwork to create for). Mod activity will begin in late December and extend into the first week or so of June.

If you are over 18 and interested in teaming up to help mod this year’s Reverse Bang, please email us at cap.im.mod@gmail.com expressing your interest, availability and any experience and skills you bring to the table.

Whether you are looking to get more involved with the Cap-IM comm, you have experience in taking part and modding other fandom challenges, or you’re a returning Cap-IM mod, we’re happy to hear from you!

Our mod team varies in size, but we’ll always have one comm mod on board. We’ll get back to all applicants as they email us, and finalise the team in the next two weeks.

Modly Responsibilities:

• Answering emails and other questions/comments about the event


• Advertising for the event, including posting on LJ, DW, Pillowfort, Tumblr, Discord and Twitter (note that we have mod accounts everywhere apart from Discord, so you don’t need to personally be on the platform)


• Running participant chats on Discord
  
• Co-ordinating sign-ups, summary and date claims, and participant posting


• Encouraging participants in their work, including creating inspiration posts


• Managing the event’s AO3 Collection


• Posting round-ups of submitted fanworks
