There's just THREE DAYS to submit your fanwork(s) for the 2022 RBB!
2022 Cap-IM Reverse Bang

Fanwork submissions for the 2022 Cap-IM RBB close on 16th February -- what time is that for me? We do accept in-progress submissions, so your work doesn't have to be 100% complete to sign up. Please check the guidelines here to see the minimum requirements for a draft.

Art previews of all our eligible Reverse Bang art submissions will be available on February 17th, and claims will open on Saturday, February 19, 18:00 ET (what time is this for me?). Writers and podficcers, check out out the creation Guidelines so you’re prepared!

You can email your entries to cap.im.events@gmail.com. We look forward to receiving all your wonderful entries in our inbox! As always, please get in touch with the mods by emailing cap.im.events@gmail.com or contacting us elsewhere if you are running into difficulties, want some advice, or have any questions about the Reverse Bang. We are happy to help!

The date a work (or most recent chapter) was published affects the order in which it is displayed on tag pages and most recent work pages: the more recent the posting, the closer to the front it shows up, and the more likely people are to see it. Usually, AO3 automatically updates the publication date whenever you upload a new work or a new chapter to your work. However, when works are posted to a collection and revealed later, the date is not automatically updated upon the reveal. Therefore, when your work is revealed for, say, the Holiday Exchange, you should update the publication date so that it will be noticed now that people can actually click through to it.

In the past occasionally people have had difficulty with works not getting the proper date updated when they've been working on a draft before posting, which is another scenario in which people might want to use this tool in order to get their work forward to its proper place. It should not be used to keep works on the first page past the proper amount of time for them to be there.
