Cap-Iron Man Newsletter and Fanworks Round-Up December 2021



Welcome to a new edition of the Cap-Iron Man Community Newsletter! The end of the year has seemed both crazy-busy and one looong stretch. Have a look at all the incredible works shared with the cap-ironman community from September 1 to November 30; the Cap-IM Big Bang is almost over, so if you want some new longfics in your life, check those out too! It's time to create Community Gifts and sign up for our remix challenges — plus plenty more community news.

This newsletter gives you an overview of what's been happening at [community profile] cap_ironman, which upcoming Steve/Tony events to look out for, and a round-up of all the wonderful things that our lovely Steve/Tony creators shared with us since the last newsletter.



  • 'Tis the season for our Cap-IM Holiday Exchange and Community Gifts event! The 2021 schedule and guidelines can be found here. Remember that everyone is welcome to create Community Gift fills, in whatever format you like!

  • Our Remix event is about to start sign-ups; you can see our Information Masterpost here. We'd love to receive starter fics and art for Relay Remix so send them through!

  • We've got a new resource post for folks thinking about Fanwork Permission Statements — and for those who aren't! It includes a definition, how permission statements relate to cap-ironman events, and additional resources

  • It's Medley Month until the end of December 15! Creators to post and share works themed to this universe—no minimum requirements, and all worktypes and collabs welcome.

  • Comment Bingo (Round 7) is open - you can request a card here throughout the round.

  • STONY Bingo 2021 Round 2 is open - you can request a card at any time throughout the round.

  • We're looking for event mods for the Cap-IM Reverse Bang. If you are over 18 and interested in teaming up with the comm mods to help mod the upcoming RBB, please send us an email at cap.im.mod@gmail.com expressing your interest and any experience and skills you bring to the table!

  • Don't forget that as part of the Universe Medley Fest we're encouraging people to host universe-themed mini events of their own! However, you can always advertise or host your Stony and Steve & Tony events on [community profile] cap_ironman platforms — for more info check out our guidelines.

  • Adventdrabbles is posting prompts every day of December to inspire creators of all kinds.

  • fandomtrees is a multifandom gifting fest (think fandomstockings and fandomgiftbox). Sign-ups are open until Dec 6, and gifting closes on Jan 5.

  • The multifandom holiday love meme is here! Post your social media accounts so others can anonymously leave well wishes and spread some cheer after a long, hard year. This meme is open until the new year.

  • Lights on Park Ave Round 28 will run through December. Their monthly theme will be announced soon!

Steve's secret identity is accidentally revealed, and Tony takes the fall with him, unwilling to let his teammate go it alone. When that leads to an accidental marriage proposal, things can only get wilder from here. Takes place in some vaguely MCU-ish verse where the identities of the team are all a secret from the world at large but not from one another.
