Ok now if this doesn't show some inner consensus about Steve's character I don't know what does.

Granted I said he was a beet . . .
I don't know it beets make me think of the army which make me think of Steve.
Corn makes me think of my mother, who is not Steve.

I had to put Tony as a Strawberry, just because . . .
I feel like there is a metaphor here for relating somehow to how QUICKLY strawberries turn icky. Seriously one minute fine, the next black and gooey and OMG WHAT HAPPENED. That needs to relate to Tony somehow.

Do you mind if I ask why a beet? I like your strawberry = Tony description. I agree that there is a metaphor in there somewhere.

Why beets make me think of the army and therefore Steve? I don't know. It seems like the kinda food they'd inflict on you. I don't even know if this is true.

Also for whatever reason that is utterly illogical it make me think of old things. Maybe because my grandparents always had beets, and I knew very few people in my generation who will eat them. That my just be me though.

So of everything on there beets struck me as Steve.

*LOL* I'm glad you like the strawberry=Tony metaphor. I have to admit I cam up with it second. Really Tony is a Strawberry because of my fanart of Chibi!Tony and the giant Strawberry ^^;;

I remember that pic! It was so cute!
I had an after thought that beets are sweet - like Steve. The old-fashionedness of beets hadn't occurred to me. I like beets - they were one of the few vegetables my mother could get me to eat when I was a little kid - but I don't really know anyone else who will touch the things either.

I also just realized I associated beets (and carrots)with victory gardens, which his also maybe why I thought of beets = Steve. Granted, of course you can grow other things but beets and carrots are what stuck with me and I don't see Steve as a carrot *L*
