The Last Rites of Janet Pym and the dumping on Stark, again

For those who came late: Pym is back, since his Skrull! Pym form is dead, and Carol (I'm assuming this is Carol because Mockingbird wouldn't know a Scooby what was going on either) fills Pym in on all the madness, and Tony gets dumped on. Again. All you Thor/Pym slashers, quiet in the back, plz. Click on smaller pictures for legibility goodness.

I am NOT posting pictures from IM 8, because art is FUG it is fug. But Tony is getting there.

Yeah: I was at the local comics dealer the other day and got into a bit of a conversation about Marvel, and the phrase "event fatigue" was voiced several times. It's not just the Tony supporters, it's practically everybody.

This crossover stuff is really starting to wear the fans down. They need to lay off it for a while.

They also need to add more hope to the regular verses.

I am seriously growing more and more tired of the dark and gloom that seems to be swalling both companies. It's like they think that the only kind of stories are the ones where the heroes lose and even if they win, they still end up losing.

re no more events- at the Dublin Comic Con last month (completely in more!love with attendee Olivier Coipel, by the by. He needs to draw everything) C.B. Cebulski said there's not going to be a giant 'event' next year, more smaller things involving just a couple of titles (like DC have going on with, I think, Green Lantern), some pretty much dealing with the SI fallout (like Avengers Reunited), and all a bit more intimate and character driven.

Which will be aces is Bendis can just keep his fingers out of it all. I am tired of him now, primarily due to the ridiculous Tony hate.
