[art] Tony working...and a hello from a fandom rookie

Hello! I am really new to the fandom (and trying to catch up on a few decades of canon...), but I have been watching this community for a while now and enjoying bingeing on all the wonderful fic and art. There are amazing things going on here and I am hopelessly hooked now.

To make this legal, have a little Tony covered in grease...in a good way.

Watercolor, old school except for a little touching up where it scanned weird. I imagine someone has interrupted him in the middle of something complex and greasy, and he's simply humoring their efforts to lure him upstairs with food or other favors. I'm still figuring out Tony, and Steve is going to take some practice. I don't do musclebound well. ^_^;

That's actually really, really pretty. Whenever I try watercolors I just end up wet and pissed off, so congrats on that. I really like his hair for some reason.

WOW! Well done. I wish I could do that.

Heh. Tony so would forget he was in his 'nice' clothes.

Niiiice.

I love that he's wearing dress clothes. I'm imagining him sneaking out of some boring cocktail party to go tinker in the workshop. :-)

Oh, charming! Very nice, great characterization!

That shirt was probably several hundred dollars. But repairs JUST CAN'T WAIT.

Nicely done!

That's lovely! Mmm, rumpled and grease-stained Tony... and for some reason I really love his arm hair. It's great how patient he looks, as if his time in the workshop has left him feeling zen.

Oooh, so pretty! I love grease-stained Tony. *g* And I am always impressed with watercolor art, because the rare times I'm messed around with them (I'm not an artist), I find them impossible to control. And yet people can do beautiful things with them! <3

Also, welcome to the fandom!

Oooh, I love the watercolor - and his rolled cuffs and untucked shirt ^_^. Also the hair on his arms and the one smudge of grease on his left forearm, which is just perfectly lickable *grins*

ANOTHER WATERCOLORIST! YAY!
Oh gosh it's my fave medium and you use it beautifully! I love the hint of pink in his skin tone especially in the cheeks and his grin and posture are great.

What great art! Thank you! ^___^

I like this, it looks really good! It leans toward realism without just copying RDJ's face ( I like his face, don't get me wrong, I'm just saying).
Please continue to share all your lovely work! (and when I say please, I mean I beg ^^;;)

I really, really like this. So many fantastic details, like the grease and positioning of his arms, but his expression! I love it! This reminds me of old school Tony, which is a definite compliment. Can't wait to see more! and I see you signed up for [livejournal.com profile] capiron_bigbang, fantastic!!
