Marvel Team Up V3 issues 1-6: IMAGE HEAVY.

This is one of my all-time favorite comics ever, very full of Steve/Tony, but as I mention it in passing to people, I realize it's not all that well known. So, stop me if you've heard this one.

ONE MORNING the Fantastic Four eats breakfast, as they tend to do, and their home is busted in by a screaming cloaked figure:

as screaming cloaked figures tend to do.

Because all attempts of tricking you into believing this is regular business would fail miserably, as I'm pulling it out for selective reading, I'll just cut to the chase, after a grand battle:

HOLY FUCKING BALLS AMIRITE.

IAMRITE.

Tony's beautiful face what happened to it tony

He beats them pretty bad and oh man this is the worst. Just the worst. There's no way it could get any more worst than it

DDDDDDDD:

The power source he detected is a character we'll meet later, who is currently being attacked by the Hulk, and Tony goes to save him!

Wowie, maybe he's not all that bad? He's still a Tony Stark we know at his core, a good and decent

DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD: oh frick no we were right the first time, he is ugly and evil

So he gets the kid (who is a total snot, I'm not sure if any of the scans I'm going to show you properly details it, but he is)

I see you eyeing that phone young man perhaps you are thinking of calling a certain teacher of yours named Peter Parker who you figured out is Spiderman. That would be a wise move.

MEANWHILE X-23 happened to be staring at the right screen when the blip of energy was detected at the mansion. Which leads to:

Der's a fight

JUST THEN
Cap and Natasha are on the Helicarrier and learn about what's happening. Cap's reaction is pretty non-existent, but here's some delicious man meat anyways:

Nnngkjfdgkj look at that back, jesus

lol AND THEN

omgomgomg

lol right to the face, goddamn

SPEAKING OF FACES gkljadgfkl;da

LOL D:

noble last words.

Second favorite page in the whole thing~

First favorite:

A date <3<3<3<3 AAAND that's the end of the first Evil Tony adventure! I was going to include the second one in this post, but this has gotten kind of ridiculously long, so I'll do that like tomorrow or something. : )

Note: This is a lot of scans, but all this was over the course of 6 issues, so I think I did pretty good?

I would totally read absolutely anything that had that as a tag line.

Jetpack Steve Fights Jetpack Hitler, $5!

*raises hand* I would pay at least ten dollars for that if it had illustrations of Hitler with the jetpack fighting Steve in midair.

I want this fic like burning. My want for it burns the same way Tony burns when he gazes at Steve's naked, artistically craw-marked form (Poor Tony: even attempting to imagine that the claw marks were made by Wolverine didn't quell the lust -- it only added the flames of jealousy to it).

Everything is happier than canon. I've read entire Russian novels happier than canon (and less painful, too).

his horrible deformity is kind of a turn off.

Eh. If Wolverine can get laid, Evil!Tony can get laid.

Tony Stark dated Madam Masque; he canonically has no problem with dating villains with horrible facial scarring.

Tony: surprisingly non-shallow. Who'da thunk it?

They presumably still have him.

Ans when I say they I guess I mean... Osborne. D:

Well, in the sequel that Simmy just posted, it said they executed Cap first, to break their spirits, and it worked. D: So, yeah, it definitely looks that way.

Someone should set him up with Doctor Doom.

Yes! I HAVE read this one! This is one of my favs. I especially like the part with Wolverine and Spiderman in the beginning.

And no one would listen to X-23...

XD

This was a really great issue.

Steve/Tony. Theirloveissotragicyetundeniable (and it also appears to be the lynchpin upon which the multiverse swings, since dead!Steve=evil!Tony in mirror verse and Steve & Tony's wedding averted Civil War in the verse which I can't remember the number for and will therefore call Marvel 6334).

You are not the first to suggest this idea. *grins* There's even an issue of Illuminati where Tony brings up Madam Masque and one of the other Illuminati members (Strange, maybe?) asks, "Why would you want to sleep with a woman who looks like Victor Von Doom?"

Tony and Reed both kind of choke, and no one answers the question.

There's a non-con scenario I don't want to envision. Though I'm not actually sure who would be on the receiving end of the non-con.

OMG, Hitler has golden flying monkey wings! And is accompanied by... the Flash's rogues gallery?

It isn't part of any particular title's continuity, and I tend to acquire canon by title (especially back-canon, since I got all my pre-2006-and-regular-access-to-a-comics store Avengers, Iron Man, and Captain America comics from those "Forty Years Of" DVDs. At least, my legal copies of them all, anyway).

It will end in happy Strange/Wong/Pepper threesome yes. ^_^ Poor Happy I love you but for the purpose for this fic your dead or divorced.

That... sounds like a really fun fic to put together. I might just do it.

Yay! ^_^

AU of your evil AU / pet!Tony is just magically delicious

I need to think of something that set him off. Maybe the death of most of the Younger Avengers or something...

I can see a smaller story, told through the eyes of Tony, about what the world is now, and how it fell to this, told in pieces. Then we flash back to now, and then when Tony finally make contact with someone other than Steve, everyone is shocked, because Tony had died.

...and present Tony is either a clone or an LMD or someone stolen from another universe who doesn't know it, having been kept in isolation.

Or, broken!Tony is kept as a pet, but Steve wasn't the one who broke him. Instead of Registration, asking supers to sign up to be at the government's service, the government went the other way. Stamford didn't happen, instead, the New Orders accidentally uncovers the skrull invasion on live tv, swinging public opinion to the side of the superhumans. The government instead, get the supers into the lab by convert means.

Tony Stark is 'disappeared', and by the time the Avengers found him, he's very physically and psychologically broken. Tony can't use his extremis anymore, though it still automatically heal him, something the sadistic guards had took advantage of. With some public support, Steve overthrows the elected government after the scandal comes out, and keeps Tony as a pet.

Like, story told through Tony's narrative, he's in Steve's room, and he overhear conversations Steve has outside, a harsh contrast to how gentle and patient Steve is with Tony because Tony is now broken

Pepper Potts stood to her full height, and grind her heels into the carpet. "Steve, you can't just keep him hidden away like this, he needs professional help."

"I don't think he needs anymore people poking at his head."

"It's not like -"

"He was shaking, the moment all of them started looking at him. I'm the only one he's comfortable with right now."

"You don't have the time he needs."

"Every free moment I have, I spend it with him."
