Don't know how to class this
I've got a few lines of dialogue that I want to get out of my head, a canon question, and a couple of odd plot ideas.
Dialogue first, I know this is pre-CW and Tony's speaking in Steve's hearing, but the rest isn't clear.
"I'm going to bring Steve in on the registration issue."
"No Reed, I respect you, but you're even worse with people thatn I am, we need someone who understands how people tick and can inspire them."
"Maybe if I talk to him before it blows up he'll be willing to hear me out and listen to the full explanation."
Canon wise, has Steve ever been wrong and admitted it?
Plot ideas:
1) Based on the whole 'Tony doesn't understand how healthy relationships work' - Tony and Steve have their first relationship fight, and Steve's really creeped out by the way Tony's reacting - almost like he's trying to provoke Steve to hurt him, but at the same time he's being weirdly seductive.
2) Someone's interfering with Steve's hormone balance and self-control, making him ore agressive, short-tempered and highly sexed. He starts fucking Tony as a result, and hurts him during sex (not badly enough for Tony to consider it a problem, but badly enough to make Steve feel really guilty afterwards). When they find out what happened he starts avoiding Tony, and Tony thinks it's because he took advantage of Steve. When it comes out Tony says something about how he should have noticed somethign was off about Steve and Steve flinches, asking if Tony blames Steve for not noticing when Tony's been mind controlled in the past.

Tony on the other hand, seem very accepting of his friends thinking the worse of him.
