First Marvel Art post: For What It's Worth (There's Nowhere I'd Rather Be)

*waves hello shyly* I've never posted on this community yet but I've been a devout lurker/appreciator for a while now. I've always been meaning to draw more for Steve and Tony (oh, how I love you boys!) but the drawing of human musculature remains intimidating. I hope this will still prove to be of some artistic/entertainment merit. ._.

Title: For What It's Worth (There's Nowhere I'd Rather Be)
Artist: [livejournal.com profile] red_rahl
Rating: G
Characters/Pairing: Captain America/Ironman (or -woman)
Disclaimer: These characters belong to Marvel. I'm just borrowing them for a little bit.
Warnings: Alternate Earths and gender permutations exploration.
Done For: [livejournal.com profile] oh_shit_santa's OSS Summer Challenge '09: Ride It Like You Stole It: Sidesaddle Edition! (It was a free-for-all fest in terms of fandoms that had to include females in the work in some fashion.)
Notes: I decided to draw Steve/Tony in all their gender permutations because I was always taken with that one Alternate Earth's Cap/Iron Woman wedding and then I wondered what the couple would be like on other Earths if their genders were changed up some more. Hopefully what I came up with isn't too out there.
- Title was conceived with Steve's last question to Tony in Civil War and Tony's answer in Civil War: Confession in mind.
- The first panel is totally wishful thinking on my part. (Damn you, Marvel, why can't your Civil War be more like Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2?!)
- In the pertinent panels, coming up with a design for Iron Woman's armor was hard (especially the unseen front part). !_!
- I shamelessly borrowed the background for the last panel from the Civil War What-if issue.

OTP no matter what gender

I kind of want to know the story behind Steph and Tony, it seems all other realities have a happy ending but in that particular one their dialogue and the shadows on the left give me the feeling that they are being hunted down(SHRA people? H.A.M.M.E.R? and Steph will have to confront them alone to give Tony a means of escape (I am already making a little story in my head, lol).

That said I love this drawing and I like the fact that this OTP is strong regardless of gender.
