Hello! I've been lurking around here for almost a year now, and I've gotta say, everything that gets posted always makes my day. :) I love all the fanfics and the art - you guys are so talented and awesome! I check this comm every day, thinking "Man, I wish I could give them something in return..." Well, I'm done being a stalker, and I have a few fic ideas floating in my head, but they're not coming out of the incubation chamber any time soon, so my random ditty here will just have to do...

You know that effect where you're almost embarrassed on a character's behalf?
I'm strongly reminded of late-80's burnout Tony, and the frequency and placement of the American flag details is very reminiscent of the IM movie.
The upside-down flag at the party translates as a distress signal, but you probably know that, and in context, that works.
The scene where the music slows and the background looks like either backlit ice or the inside of a WWII bunker is interesting too... I picture that as... Steve's willpower challenge. As in, Tony's drunk, and Steve probably -shouldn't- tap that, but just LOOK at him...
