Repost: A Letter From Tony Stark

I thought it would be fun to repost this to the comm, especially since we've got a lot of fantastic new people. A bit of lighthearted tomfoolery and a LOT of Photoshop work from yours truly.

Tony writes a letter to the government.


Ani and I will be writing some things for you guys soon (like the sequel to Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is in which the New Avengers find out about the Vegas Wedding and Cap has to tell Bucky that he's now married to Tony (:D :D :D)), so stay tuned.

Thanks for the pointer to that for us newbies: I doubt I would have found it on my own, which would be a shame. It's just perfect, and I can so hear RDJ's Stark reading it.

Oh, yes. The Vegas Wedding. It's a three-parter, but it's fun. We're working on a sequel where everyone gets to find out that Steve and Tony are together. It's going to be great. The coming out heard round the world (or at least as far as TMZ reaches). Hah.

The rest of my stuff is at the top of my page. If you click on the post-it (very first entry) it gives you everything. I think almost everything linked on that page is Steve/Tony or random/funny Marvel essays.

I highly recommend the Fandom Rewrite: The Bagel Scene (http://ellyr-in-ink.livejournal.com/2936.html) (where I completely rewrote the dialog for one of the comic scenes using Photoshop) and WTF: A Tour of the Avengers Mansion (http://ellyr-in-ink.livejournal.com/8379.html). They're both really fun.

*dies laughing* I'm off to read the fic, as I'm one of the new people, but I have to say - that letter is one of the best things EVER. That last bit ("And by America, I mean me.") is so totally Tony. XD Thanks so much for re-posting it!

You're very welcome! It took a long time to do in Photoshop, but it was worth it. My roommate at the time ([livejournal.com profile] ani_bester) thought I was crazy because I just sat at my computer for hours making stationary.

But it was soooooo worth it.

It was incredibly worth it. XD Even the husband and the straight roommate laughed themselves silly at it. (After that much giggling, I had to share. ;)

Plus, I love the Vegas story. I'm very definitely looking forward to the sequel!

Dude, I know what it's like to spend hours on end working on something fandom related that only serves the purpose of making you and other fans happy, both Microsoft Word-wise and Photoshop-wise. XD I'm on my way to work, so I don't have time to read the fic right now, but when I get back I will and I'll tell you all about it!
