A Great Animated Steve and Tony Moment...
So I was watching an episode of the Super Hero Squad (If you don't watch this show, you really should. There are tons and tons of Marvel characters that get play and the humor is pretty intelligent.), and there was a Steve and Tony moment that just had me rolling on the floor.
Steve and Carol have been semi-brainwashed by a villain running for the position of (evil!) mayor. The squad doesn't take kindly to having a villain on board the Helicarrier. Steve's first reaction?
Well, I put the video clip up on my YouTube account so you could join in the LOLZ. Enjoy! :D
The DVD set for Season 1 comes out on 7/13/2010 and there are streaming episodes up on the Marvel website (I believe).

Though oddly Steve still has his shield after he throws it?

Later in the episode, Steve accidentally takes Tony out during the end battle. Tony's response was, "Really? Again with the shield?" All Steve did at that was kind of laugh bashfully and rub the back of his neck. Friendly fire at its best. :D

Okay, that's super cute. I love the neck rubbing thing that he does.

I wanted to post scans of the new issue of Marvel Adventures: Captain America that came out two weeks ago. There's a bunch of plot going on and Steve and Tony randomly start sparring in the background (at the potential expense of furniture and architecture). The scene's great and I don't think I've seen mention of it yet, but I wanted to double check.
Also, if I posted it later this evening (about 10 hours or so from now since I'm currently at work), would that be okay? It's technically a different genre. You know I'm not super-talkative, so this would be an ultra-rare, collector's item 2-in-1-day post from me. Yea or nay? You're the boss on this one. I just want to know if I can cheer you all up with some light-hearted Steve/Tony-centric fun.
(And on a random note, I missed a few letters when typing out 'light' on my phone and the auto-correct function tried to replace it with LGBT. I'm so proud of you, phone!)

I <3 your phone!

I know! My phone shocked me with that one. It doesn't even realize yet (despite countless corrections) that when I type h-e-double-hockey-sticks that 99.27% of the time I mean hell and not he'll. At least it's focused on learning things that are more important than curse words.

Stan Lee is the fabulous voice for the not!evil Mayor of Super Hero City. There are so many puns about him making up tales of radioactive spiders and calling the squad 'true believers.' He even suits up in this episode in one of Tony's old suits (converted from a washer/dryer unit, of course) and makes reference to transistor!power, which came up almost ever other page in the old Tales of Suspense Iron Man comics.
AND in this episode, Steve gets a ticket for littering after beating up a bunch of bad guys. He's sooooooooooo horrified at the thought of breaking the law! Really, I'll shut up now... :D

I haven't watched too many episodes of SHS (though the theme song is mega catchy). My favorite part of what I remember was one where the Hulk turned into smart Hulk. And, someone said, "Hey, now we don't have to buy a new fridge every other day!" (Since the Hulk was no longer rampaging.) In response, Tony gets all pissy with, "Are you saying Stark Industries doesn't make a sturdy fridge?!"
This is clearly why I love those Mini Marvels at the end of MA comics too. Tony and his insecurities = gold

They sadly didn't get much time shown together past that, but it was still an epic moment either way. :3
Oh, did you guys notice that episode where they were all having a day off?
Cap was going to a Civil War reenactment XD he was talking to someone on the phone, and I quote:
"It's the Civil War! What's the worst that could happen?"
Yeah, I'm just rambling here :P
