What was your favorite Avengers movie moment? Hands down, the "You've got a condition" line. That was definitely where I laughed the loudest. After that, my favorite was the final end-credits scene. I am such a sucker for teams eating and relaxing together.

What do you want in the next Marvel movie? More Steve & Tony interaction. More Black Widow character arc. Hmm... maybe Jan Van Dyne or Jen Walters or Monica Rambeau.

Any exciting fandom plans? Not sure, life is so busy right now. But I do have a fanvid in the works.

I totally echo your hopes for the next Marvel movie. I really hope Natasha shows up in IM3 or CA2--I don't want to wait until Avengers 2 before we see her again! Better yet, she should get her own movie.

I followed you back to your DW and saw your comment about the Marvel universe not needing 3 Ant-Mans. (Ant-Men?) You make such a good point--and it's really unfair that Cassie, the young female character, is the one to get bumped off. Plus, the rumours of an Ant-Man movie have me worried because while that might pave the way for introducing Jan as well, I really feel that Black Widow deserves a movie more. (Comics =/= movieverse, etc.)

Yeah, I'm still bitter about Cassie dying. And I agree that I'd much rather have a Black Widow movie than an Ant-Man movie. That said, if they made it Wasp & Ant-Man, and gave Jan as much agency, plot, and screen time as Hank, I'd go see it. I do like Jan and Hank. But Black Widow deserves a solo movie first, as she's already a proven Avenger in movie-verse.

I still don't know much about Jan besides what I read in fic and the few episodes of EMH I've seen. And I haven't read enough MA: Adventures to figure out how that Jan is different from Wasp in 616 (other than she's not married?). I've read some New Avengers, which has introduced me to the two Jessicas and a little of Carol--I like those three quite a bit.

But yes, movieverse Black Widow definitely needs her own movie--maybe guest-starring Hawkeye or SHIELD?

What was your favorite Avengers movie moment? Oh god, that is a difficult question. D: Umm. Possibly the part with Loki and Hulk if just because it was so unexpected and I laughed so hard. Or the shawarma. Why yes, we did go out for shawarma at Epcot right after the premiere. A++

What do you want in the next Marvel movie? More Steve/Tony interaction, obviously. Also, Carol! And Jan! I don't think we can have Wanda, but I want her. All the Marvel ladies. Ummm. Since the next Marvel movie coming out is Spidey (right?) I'm hoping for a really silly, jokey Spidey. I missed that aspect when Tobey played him.

What was your favourite Avengers movie moment? Science Bros! I started shipping Tony/Bruce as soon as I saw the trailers of Hulk catching Iron Man, but I could never have predicted the instant connection between Tony and Bruce. Wonderfully played!

What do you want in the next Marvel movie? I want some Avengers cameos and name-checking, even if we can't have outright crossovers. And now that Tony/Pepper is established, I really hope IM3 doesn't spend too much time agonizing over the state of their relationship. Oh! And Gwen Stacy being awesome. ♥Emma Stone♥

Me too! The trailers gave me the sense that there'd be some fun banter between Tony and Bruce, but nothing like the awesome instant friendship and mutual respect that we got. I never expected to walk out of the theatre shipping them almost as much as Steve/Tony. :)

Who is the woman in the gif? Is that Carol? (I'm still a newbie so I assume all blonde Marvel women are Carol.)

I never, ever expected to ship Tony/Bruce, though admittedly I came to Marvel 'verse through fic, so basically everything I read was Tony/Steve, even though I'd never consumed any canon to support that. Post movie, I can decide if I want Tony/Steve/Bruce, Tony/Pepper/Bruce, Tony/Pepper/Steve, or if I should just step up to an OT4.

My newbieness is also pretty newbie, though in this case, you're right about Carol. I'm actually really enjoying Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Something had to take the place of the sadly canceled Batman: Brave and the Bold in my cartoon line up.

Oh, I didn't realize Carol was in Earth's Mightiest Heroes! I must catch up at some point, she's my favorite.

I'm not a huge Hulk/Bruce fan in the comics, but both EMH and Ruffalo!Bruce in the movie have really sold me on those verses' versions of them. I'm really glad they swapped out Edward Norton for Mark Ruffalo - his Bruce Banner is weirdly charming, especially when he's geeking out with Tony and when he fakes out Natasha with the hands-slamming-on-the-table bit.

Plus, the Natasha/Bruce potential in the movies nicely rounds out the canon Clint/Natasha and the Clint/Hulk slashiness in the cartoon by making Clint/Bruce/Natasha a viable shipping option (well, in my head, at least).

What was your favorite Avengers movie moment? Ohgods, it's a tie between Natasha's opening scene and when Loki tried (and failed) to use the Glowstick of Destiny on Tony. Clearly Tony's tertiary superpower (after intellect and money) is snark.

What do you want in the next Marvel movie? Cameos. I want to see Bruce bumping around Tony's R&D department, Natasha having coffee with Pepper, Clint stalking people on rooftops. Random little things that don't necessarily add to the main plot but make it clear that they're all still tied together.

Any exciting fandom plans? Ummmm. ._. Writing fic? Orgies? More Fallen London? Finally editing those damned NaNo fics? I've got tons of plans. Execution is my weakness these days.

Thanks to the Hulk/Ben Grimm interaction in EMH, I now sort of associate the Hulk holding a grudge with the Hulk having pigtail-pulling crushes on people.

The Helicarrier! Or maybe Steve's adorable "I understood that!" after Fury's flying monkey reference.

What do you want in the next Marvel movie?
In my ideal world, Hank & Jan will show up, the main villain will be Ultron V, Wanda Maximoff will show up and be IC and not crazy and have adorable cuteness with Vision (who will also be present because Ultron), and Tony will break up with Pepper and get together with Rumiko Fujikawa or Whitney Frost/Madam Masque (hoping for him to get together with Steve would be pushing it even in imaginary movie utopia). And all of this will prompt Jan to be brought back to life in the comics and a long run of beautiful issues where the team line up is "Classic Avengers + Luke Cage & Jess w/optional Danny."

In the real world, I'd just like some Kree and Skrull action since the end of the movie left it open to bring in Cosmic Marvel, and maybe Carol as Ms. Marvel and some Jane Foster cameos. And for Coulson's replacement to be either Sharon Carter or Jimmy Woo.

What do you want in the next Marvel movie? The next one is Spiderman, right? All I really want for that is a portrayal of Spidey that sort of comes close to the version of the character that I like. Gwen Stacy being kickass would be cool too.
