A time of terror

What, Halloween? No! It's something even more frightening.

November.

AAAAAAAAH.

For everyone not in the know, November is National Novel Writing Month; that NaNoWriMo thing you've probably seen around the web. The way it goes is that anyone so inclined makes a deal with Mephisto attempts to write 50,000 words in 30 days (about half of a novel, or a pretty good sized fanfic). It rounds out to about 1,667 words a day, which is sometimes more manageable than it looks, and sometimes farther away than the moon. But that's okay, since the point is mostly to put your head down and charge at that writer's block until one of you cracks open.

As you can probably tell by the community this has been posted to (hint: it's [community profile] cap_ironman), I'm doing a Steve/Tony NaNo! I did one last year and had a ridiculous amount of fun. With a goal and a deadline in mind, I've had a lot of lock slamming out words. For people who aren't interested in longer works, there's also [livejournal.com profile] mini_nanowrimo, which is a minimum word count of 100 words a day, and doing it on a single fic isn't required. That's much more manageable for people with busy schedules or short fics.

TL;DR I'm basically asking if anyone else on this community is going to join me in some delicious Steve/Tony headdesking noveling through November this year. Again, it's a ton of fun, and it really stretches the writing muscles, regardless of whether you do the Mini or the Novel form. So? Anyone up for it?

Disclaimer: Yes, this is an attempt to get people to write more Steve/Tony fic. I have no shame.
