So who else watched the show?
And by show, I mean the particularly adorable interaction between Tony and Steve in Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, episode 17.
Any thoughts? Comments?
I personally liked the raw eggs bit ;P Does anyone REALLY do that?
And the way they're taking the series, one would think they'd put in ALL the big players in the 616 universe in the later 2000s in the show. I know it's a long shot hoping for the YA to pop up, but yeah, I really really want it to happen.

Any episodes in particular that have any good Steve/Tony moments?

It links to part two in the side.

This was insane levels of adorable! I think I loved the whole casually breakfasting together thing... Also, futurist!Tony and artist!Steve (knowing about the 'futurist' art movement! \o/)... Though Tony's obvious man-crush from early episodes seems to have receded quite a bit (and replaced by some admiration by Cap, instead!)
Other than that I thought it was hilarious how puny/tiny Tony looked in comparison to Cap... Also Clint and Hulk are MEAN boys! ;p Steve should totally scold them for laughing at his (boy)friend!
I'd love the YA too, but I don't think it would be possible within the timeline of them show... I mean, even if Tommy and Billy only need to have been 'born' to Wanda and Vision a couple of years ago, they still do need to be born... And of course, Scott Lang needs to have made an appearance and Vision needs to be dead for Vision II!! Even Teddy is Captain Mar-Vell's kid, right? So.... difficult to explain... Maybe time-travel could work? *ponders*

Sometimes, Tony is twelve.
The whole episode was so awesome. I think it might be my favorite so far. From the Steve/Tony interactions, to Hank saving the day with cockroaches, to Tony hacking Kang's tech, every scene made me squee.

Hmmm.... I agree that they couldn't fit the Young Avengers into the show's timeline unless it ran for about five-six years or something, but they could fit them in as guest stars in a second season episode if they totally removed the connection to Wanda from Billy and Tommy's backstory and made young!Vision a copy of Vision instead of a replacement, so the two of them could exist at the same time. I don't think I'd want time travel, unless it was an X-Men like "keep this awful dystopian future from happening" storyline, because that would mean Disassembled would have to happen in this verse, too.
A "no longer Wanda's reincarnated kids" origin story that allowed Billy and Tommy to exist without requiring her to be fridged first would be awesome, actually, especially since that origin story never made all that much sense anyway (if Wanda's twins hadn't died, they'd be around Franklin Richards' age, much younger than Billy and Tommy, so how can they be reincarnations of them? The timeline is all screwy).

As for the YA,I just remembered... Wasn't Teddy supposed to have been conceived during the first Kree/Skrull War? (The one they're setting up right now?) Or was it some previous unseen thing?

If Teddy was conceived during the first Kree-Skrull war, he ought to be way younger than he is, so I'm going to guess some earlier, unseen thing. That, or timeline screwiness. And speaking of screwy timelines, it's just occurred to me that they could also make Billy and Tommy Wanda and Vision's twins (actual twins rather than reincarnations) from some alternate future timeline and get around the "Wanda has to meet Vision, marry him, have kids, etc. before the show can introduce them." The X-Men got at least three "Scott Summers' future offspring" members that way.

There was the full body scan thing Tony did. And did anyone else notice how Steve kept touching Tony? It seemed like there was always a friendly hand on the shoulder or a helping hand up. i hope their interactions keep getting touchier...

I noticed that too, and I thought I was just being silly with noticing the full body scan XD

He likes the texture? :D
Or, you know, he can't keep his hands off :3.

I enjoyed how Steve seems to touch Tony quite a bit and the fighting lesson - HA! Poor Tony - it was great watching him go "Uuugh, what just happened?" Personally, it looked like Steve was having fun knocking Tony on his butt. 8D
But I think what was interesting was how both Tony and Steve were proven right in their ideals. Tony was right about technology having an edge in a fight as proven when *SPOILER*Kang wiped the floor with the Avengers*/SPOILER* And then Steve was proven right when *SPOILER*Tony looked to the "basics" in order to save everyone.*/SPOILER*
The only way I can see the Young Avengers making a cameo is if they do a window to all the possible futures - you know to prove to show Kang's future isn't set in stone sort of thing.

Yeah, I like how Steve feels on Tony as well. But the reactions Tony had were rather awesome too. Just because it's got to be so humiliating (especially with Hawkeye and Hulk in the background.) And yeah, Steve looked way too smug doing that.
I also enjoyed how both points were proven right. Not how I expected it to be, however. I thought Kang's shield would be low impact and that fists and such would be able to get through. But I liked how they did it too! :D

Man, I was surprised by the size differential too, but it makes sense, really. :D
I loved that whole conversation at breakfast, especially Tony's like "newspapers suck!" and Steve's like "this one proves you suck- at fighting". Bwahaha. And I did love Hulk and Hawkeye playing the parts of Waldorf and Sattler for the duration of a fight.
I love this show so much! :D

It was worth it to see Hulk actually being happy about something XD

The little smile Tony gives himself when Steve tells him to meet hin in the training room? Then when Cap and Tony are suiting up (just before Kang shows up) the smile Cap sends Tony's way? *EEP* Also, oh god, Cap is really ridiculously touchy-feely in this!
And is it just me or was there a story on this comm, where Tony and Steve are discussing newspapers and the future thereof in pretty similar terms as the program?

I wonder when they’ll bring up Tony’s heart problem though. I had thought about it before, but it was only until the fight scene where you can obviously see the Arc Reactor under Tony’s tank top that I remembered that Tony hasn’t told them about his heart problem. No one seemed surprised at the fact that part of Tony’s chest was glowing though? Also, I wonder if his workaholic tendencies and depression/low self-esteem are going to be making any appearances later on.
The sheer size difference between Steve and Tony shocked me for a second until I paused and realized that Steve really is only maybe two inches taller than Tony. The reason he looks so much bigger is because he has so much more muscle mass than Tony (also, he has really broad shoulders). Which makes sense if you think about it.
Also, maybe it's just because I haven't really noticed it with anyone else, but out of everyone with aliases, it seems to me that Steve only calls Tony by his real name. Or maybe it’s just that he calls out Tony’s name more than anyone else’s. Either way, he certainly touches Tony more than anyone else in the show, as others have mentioned.

Yeah, I can't see him volunteering information about a potential handicap to anyone... Maybe, no one's just asked him yet? (No one wants to be the first to ask and everyone thinks that it probably just some eccentric rich guy tech-head thing?)
As for all the mental issues, I occurs to me, that what with Ultron now being Tony and Hank's, once the sudden yet inevitable betrayal happens, we might get to see BOTH of them fall apart with their classic issues... Could be verrry interesting....

I love that Steve and Tony spar together - it's like a brilliant little bit of shipper fanon onscreen. Also, breakfast! Hank being heroic with Science! There are moments when watching this is like seeing some of the best parts of MA-verse animated.

This kind of make me wonder if this is what we have to look forward to from the Avengers movie, considering that this Tony is basically movie!Tony-lite. Because if it is, I'll be a happy man.
And am I the only one that was expecting them to pull that joke from Gamma World back and have the Hulk suddenly turn back into Bruce while laughing at Tony? Because that would have made this episode perfect ( I like Bruce's interactions with Clint about as much as I like the Hulk's interactions with him, plus that adorable motherfucker never gets enough screen time)
*lurk*

Im sorry i couldn´t help but to comment this.
I love that breakfest scene. (I love the whole show! Mostly tony.) When i saw the episode i couldn´t help but to get the the-morning-after-they-got-togheter-feeling or even that they had been togheter a while:). And Steve was like now-when-we-finally-gotten-togheter-im- soo-have-the rigth-to-tell-him-he-needs-to-learn-how-to-fight-and-im-so-going-to-learn-him-some-basics-before-he-gets-killed.
And all the touching! It was like Steve couldn´t keep his hand´s of him. And Tony soo checked him out when he scanned him. And then he chosed steve over the faith of the world...I LOVE THIS SHOW.
Maybe im just seeing too much in this but i don´t care it was fun and sweet either way:) Lol.
