I KNOW! Tell that to my comics class. We're watching the trailer in class and all the boys are bitching about it being too "glossy" and kind of "meh"... I'm like BUT HE'S ADORABLE LOOK AT THAT FACE. They reply that "Captain America is not adorable." I just went GTFO, what comics are you reading? :D
Nah, if anyone's a cat it's Tony. Cap's a dog. One of those adorable floppy ones that look like they couldn't harm a fly... right up until someone tries to break into your house. Then it's all, "SNUGGLES! You have teeth! :O"
That would actually suit me right down to the ground. Seeing something like that, where she gets to stand on her own feet (possibly even shooting him down!) would be amaaaaaaaazing.
We seem to have movie!Cap with a gun. Thoughts?

Even if it makes me a "bad" Cap fan, I'm OK with it. Not that I want him to be toting around an AK-47 or anything, but it's in the heat of WW2 battle. Movie!Cap in the Avengers? No.
Well, even IF he didn't , I agree with you and I don't have issues with it. 1.) It is during war time and 2.) we'll have to wait and see how they portray Steve using the gun. Just judging from the other footage (which isn't much) I'd almost wager that they'll portray him as being reluctant to kill, but will still use it if necessary...
Ultimates Cap had a gun. I'm not so sure about current 616, but I'm going to guess no in at least the early days of Cap (and probably no to the him killing people directly; Brubaker included a bit about Bucky doing the wetwork because Cap had to be the symbol).
