A Little Song and A Panel
So, I just came across this amazing band called Kirby Krackle which does, what they call 'nerd rock', based mostly on comic book characters. They have a song called "Tony Stark" about Tony in the aftermath of Civil War and I just had to share with the comm. The first paragraph is pure gold and very clearly talks about Steve. :D
Have a video! Warnings for Joey Q guest-starring and also, I apologize for being totally unable to find an album version of the song, but here, have at it! :D

Edit: The awesome

In other news, the Iron Age: Alpha is off to an awesome start. (Panel and info under cut are slightly spoiler-y but only if you know absolutely nothing about mini, including the plot premise.)
The world is destroyed, everyone is dead, but Tony's in the past where he can maybe prevent this tragedy! Here, have his reaction panel to the end of the world! :)
(Well, I admit, it might have been shippier to have Steve's name first, but order aside I think these are the absolutely in-character for the first people Tony would think of... though I think, Jarvis should have been on there too, but... *shrugs*)

I mean. Um. That was a very nifty song you found there and I am not overinvested in it at all.

Brb lamenting the fact I'm broke and unable to buy the rest of these guys' stuff. I think "epic" is the best word to describe it.
And if Iron Age gets more positive response, I'll definitely be on the look-out for the hardcover or paperback release. Hopefully I'll have money by then. >3>

Iron Age really is off to a good start, and I am glad I finally have an Iron Man title to follow! (I've successfully been able to give up IIM for *two whole months* now! Lets see how long before, my inevitable need to read more Iron Man, throws me back into the vicious-cycle of reading Fraction and crying about the crap he writes) -_-"
*cough*You could always sample the stuff before buying the trades, right?*cough* My nearest comic shop is 1.5 hrs travel time away and also in the middle of the red-light district. I have not the cajones to go there and wait for trades to come in the bookstore, too. ._.

The entire premise of Iron Age made me squee with glee; I have a thing for time travel stories done well (perhaps especially with Iron Man, since Doomquest is one of my favourite arcs...) so I really, really want this to be good. :3
I live in a
galaxycountry far, far away... At least far enough away to have some problems getting my hands on new issues; those that are not expected to sell well are simply not imported (you can admittedly order them at the store but it takes ages for them to get here |D). Also I am not as rich as I would like to be. As a result, I am ridiculously picky about what comics I buy and fight the abstinence with re-reading old albums and fanfiction. :P... I guess there's always illegal download, but I am computer illiterate.
