Big Bang 2011 Round Up, and future challenges!

Now, what's next for challenges? We plan on holding our third yearly winter fic and art exchange - sign-ups will be running from the start of November. We're planning a friending meme quite shortly, as we have a lot of new people who want to meet people to squee with!

But what else would you like to see in the way of challenges and comm activities? Bingo cards? Comm read-alongs? Another Reverse Big Bang, another Big Bang? Podfic exchanges, drabble-offs?

I really like the idea of a read-along. There's just so much canon that it's difficult coming as a new fan to find discussions of older events, or even to find what old stuff should be read.

I am also all for any challenges. One thing I've enjoyed in previous fandoms are Clichefests - masquerades, accidental bondings, sex pollen, arranged marriages, body swapping, de-aged kidfic, hidden royalty, 'sex or we'll die', blanketfic, 'pretending to be in a relationship for a mission', love potions, trapped in a small space... embracing the cheese.

Hm, perhaps we could include cliches on the Bingo cards? Or how have they worked in previous fandoms? Perhaps we could do a drabble-fest on them?

Previously I'd done one where we selected from a list of cliches and wrote a fic around the cliche, but I like the bingo card idea more!

Entirely my fault for dropping off livejournal and disappearing into RL. But then along comes well, this canon, this fandom, and I just couldn't stay away.

Are you going to be writing fic for this fandom because I am so excited by this idea.

hah. Haha. Considering I already have a 9000 word WIP, I'm gonna have to say yes to that one. orz RESISTENCE IS FUTILE apparently.
