NYCC Meet-Up?

So, New York ComicCon is slightly over a week from now.* Is anyone else on the comm either a) planning to attend the convention, or b) not attending, but going to be in NYC that weekend, and if so, would you be interested in meeting up either at the convention itself or for dinner/drinks/coffee/something afterwards?

Would you be able to meet up for dinner after the con that evening? We're thinking about maybe doing two meet-ups, one on Saturday at the con, and one on Sunday evening after things are over.

I don't think I can, I wasn't planning on staying the whole time because I'll still have to take the train home out to Long Island. I'd really have to see how much energy I have left on the actual day, because I'll be getting up early to get in on time also.

You might not be the only person who can only do Sunday - we may end up changing the vaguely-considering-it meeting time from Saturday to then; it depends.

Depending on which city, you might be able to - there's enough people on the comm that NYC can't be the only city with more than one cap_ironman person living there.

(I think people also had a meet-up at San Diego CC this summer, but that one was too far away for me to travel to)

I'm in Los Angeles, so I guess that would be in my favor. (I would have liked to do the SDCC one, but I don't know how I would have explained to my nerdy comic guy friends with me that I was going to leave them to go to a meetup group about the shipping of Captain America and Iron Man.)
