Favoute fanfiction cliché/trope?

I am as curious as awlays and I was wondering what kind of fanfiction cliché/trope you prefer to read. I guess a cliché or a trope can be a certain situation that is used in more than a couple of fanfictions and that comes directly from situations from the different universes (comics, movies etc.)

For example, I have a special preference for the classic "Steve doesn't know that Tony is Iron Man" and I adore also the "Steve and Tony goes on dates but Tony doesn't know they are dating".

I totally forgot to mention fics in which Captain America lures Ironman away from Super Villainy with the power of love...and his really hot ass.

It kinda makes me yearn for someone to write a really indulgent fic where Tony will fund all the Avengers stuff and Ironman and all that stuff in exchange for marrying Steve.

I read something similar once, or at least in the same vein where Iron Man was actually a super villain but was married to an unknowing Captain America. I could try to find the link if you'd like if you haven't read it already?
