They get thrown together when Steve finds Tony after Tony is attacked a thrown off a bridge. He doesn't remember who he is, and ends up staying with Steve and the boys. It is pure fluff and adorable-ness from that point on. Reading this is like snuggling in a big warm blanket.

I have never watched IM:AA, but what fics I've read of it are just adorable. You don't really need to know much about IM:AA to be able to understand and enjoy this story - just take it as an AU if you reall have to. It has some angsty bits, but overall, this is fluffy and cuteness abounds as Tony introduces Steve to modern America and their relationship develops from friendship to romance.
