With a paint program it would be easy to scan the picture and erase the speech bubbles to put in your own text.

Yes, but the font is accurate for the comic, as is the coloration of the letters. I eat, sleep, and breathe photoshop, dahling, I can usually spot when someone has tampered with an image. The text is also sized and fitted PERFECTLY to the bubbles, meaning the bubbles were designed for this text in particular. There are a lot of signs.

Frankly, I don't care if it's an altered image, I just think it's funny.
