Title: Freeway, Chapter Five
Rating: R for gore. Um, there's some penis-to-mouth contact, but it isn't... sexual...? So maybe NC-17, but there isn't actually sex happening in this chapter. Not where anyone can see, anyway.
Summary: While he's never believed you walk around with half a heart 'til you meet someone who fits, he's prepared to accept that maybe they do things different on other planets. That's what watching them feels like, to him: changing your mind.
Warnings: Gore. Poor life decisions.
Notes: This chapter gave me fits, but miraculously (and mostly due to my perfect-human-of-a-beta, 3bird) stuff got sorted out. Plot is mostly in line. Sex forthcoming in chapter six, but have some plot and feels for now.
